How NDIS funding works with us
Plan managed
Your plan manager pays us directly from your NDIS funds. You don’t need to handle invoices yourself.
Agency managed
NDIS pays us directly. We submit service bookings and claims through the NDIS portal.
Self managed
You pay our invoices and claim reimbursement from the NDIS portal. We can help you understand this process.

What can speech pathology NDIS funding be used for?
Speech pathology supports under NDIS typically sit under Capacity Building: Improved Daily Living.
This can include:
• Assessment and diagnosis of communication and swallowing conditions
• Individual therapy sessions (in-clinic, telehealth or community)
• Assistive technology (AAC) assessment and training
• Reports and functional capacity assessments for plan reviews
• Carer and family training
• Group programmes where available
Common Questions
Referrals can be made by the participant, a family member, LAC, support coordinator, GP or any other professional. You can use our referral form, email us or call. No special paperwork is needed to get started.
Speech pathology should be listed in your Capacity Building budget. If you're not sure whether it's in your plan, check with your LAC or support coordinator or call us and we'll help you read your plan.
Yes, assessment and reporting are fundable under NDIS. This is common for plan reviews, AT applications, and diagnostic support.
Yes, we offer telehealth across the Hunter Valley and beyond. Our Kurri Kurri clinic also serves families in the Upper Hunter and surrounding areas.
